Three Year Plan
The three year planning process offered opportunities for engagement and participation in multiple ways both in person and in zoom and included the data and accountability team, staff, instructors, administrators from all member districts, SBAEC Lead, Board members, Action Planning Team (APT) members, and student voices via surveys. The SBAEC consortium engaged stakeholders through a process of collaboration and data review to assess the consortium's strengths and weaknesses, as well as internal and external factors that affect services provided to the community. The Three Year planning sessions allowed SBAEC to identify the milestones and objectives for the 2025-26 School year
SBAEC initial planning teams used several data point platforms to identify gaps in service and develop focus areas for a number of high need populations including English Language Learners, low income, low literacy skills, those lacking a high school diploma in the South Bay region as well as individuals disproportionately affected by the high cost of living in the South Bay region. These focus areas were further analyzed by the Action Planning Teams (APT) who also recommended strategies and activities to support the selected student barriers. APT members included teachers, coordinators, data program specialists, administrators and El Camino administration.
